Dr John Maxwell on Leadership

Dr John C Maxwell is probably the foremost teacher of leadership principles in the world. He is the founder and chairman of The INJOY Group, a group of organizations that he created to spread the leadership message around the world. Each year John Maxwell speaks to more than a quarter of million people in the business, military, church, and political realms.

Maxwell was born into a church family. His father was a pastor in the Wesleyan Church and very early in his life, John knew he was to pursue the same calling. After attending Circleville Bible College in Ohio he moved with his new wife Margaret to Hillham, Indiana to pastor a small Wesleyan Church there. It was in Hillham that many of Maxwell's principles of growth, leadership, and personal development began to germinate. In 1995 he left Skyline Wesleyan Church to devote himself full-time to INJOY and leadership development conferences.
